AQA Maths Past Paper – Foundation 2 – with video solutions

In this post we’re aiming to revise AQA Maths Past Paper – Foundation Paper 2. The paper is calculator based although please do show your working – even the fairly obvious calculations. This will help the examiner to award as many marks as possible and it could give you a higher grade.

Please don’t just watch the videos on the AQA Maths Past Paper. Revision should be active and it’s always better to pause, attempt a question, and then compare your solution.

It’s always difficult to plan good quality revision but it should be a combination of school classes, possibly tutoring, and independent working. Try to find a quiet place, free from distractions, to work through any exercises. To be honest I’m not good at planning to revise – for me, the very best thing is to just start. It doesn’t really matter what time it is, or what’s on TV, or waiting until the time is right, or after dinner, or taking the dog for a walk, or etc etc. I just start right now.

You’ll be surprised how much you can achieve in a short space of time. So aim for half an hour of focussed work on the AQA Maths Past Paper. When using these videos you can achieve some high quality revision by printing the questions, trying each one, and the comparing your solution. It might even be better to just do one question each time – the sense of achievement might help you to work a little longer.

Although do take a break occasionally!
