Questions on substitution are usually non calculator, around 2 – 3 marks, and appear in all the main GCSE exam boards – Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Eduqas. The topic is extremely useful and has a wide range of associated algebra questions. And it’s really the point of a formula 🙂
